For the past 15 years, I have had the pleasure and privelege to work with people interested in furthering their knowledge of the guitar, electric bass, ukulele and also composition and music theory
My students have come from every background and at every age from 4 to 77. I work with students at all skill levels from beginner to advanced and believe that regardless of wherever a student is in their personal musical journey, there is room to expand and grow.
From 2012-13 and again from 2017-18, I taught on the Adjunct Faculty of CalArts as guitar instructor for non-majors. I have also given clinics and/or workshops at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis), University of Nevada (Reno), Idaho State University, Humboldt State University and University of Northern Colorado. With this invaluable experience in live performance and touring as well as writing and releasing various studio recordings, I have a great deal of real world knowledge in music to share and impart in a deep sense to newcomers and professionals alike.
